Yet, many struggle with inconsistent data, supplier roadblocks, and inefficient workflows. The numbers speak for themselves—according to Jane Anderson, ConstructionLCA (2024), “At the start of January 2024, there were over 23,000 Verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) to EN 15804 for construction products registered with EPD Programmes globally. This is an amazing effort as we know how much job it is to create an EPD. But when we think about this 100,000 thousand manufacturers in Europe who need to create documents in the coming years, the gap is still very big, so we need to work differently.
